ABOUT

“I do what I can, I give what I have.
And I accept the results, even the negative ones.
There are physical limits.
My principle is this: do what you can at your best
to have a clear conscience”

(Damiano Cunego from “La Gazzetta dello Sport”,  May 14,  2009)

From the beginning…

Damiano Cunego, a Veronese cyclist born in 1981, has achieved great satisfactions throughout his career, winning over 50 races among the professionals.

The success indeed arrived immediately; from the beginning, in 1999 he conquered the junior victory at the World Championship crossing alone the finish line. The success, then, continued in the early years among professionals: in 2004 he won the “Maglia Rosa” at the eighty-seventh Giro d’Italia and won the Tour of Lombardy three times (2004-2007-2008).

In 2006 Damiano conquered the white shirt of best young rider of the Tour de France, while he placed first in the 2008 edition of the Amstel Gold Race.

Today, less than a year after his retirement, Damiano is still present in the cycling world: passion and determination have led him to make available to fans of this discipline his twenty-year experience, becoming a Personal Trainer and Health Coach.
